Position Summary

The Admissions Advisor plays a major role in developing new networks of recruitment students for our private secondary school in Markham, Ontario. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the admissions process and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract and enroll a diverse and talented student population around the region of Central & South America. Occasional overseas travelling would be required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Strategy: expand the existing recruitment channels and explore new channels for international students recruitment focusing on Central & South America;
  • Networking & Outreaching: plan, organize and attend different recruitment activities including open house, information sessions for strategic target groups;
  • Admissions Management: develop and update necessary policies and SOPs to ensure an effective admissions process; maintain a robust mechanism to ensure of effective communication and good quality of customer services to achieve enrollment commitments;
  • Collaborations: work closely with Marketing Department and NOIC School to keep track of the recruitment forecast and providing different analysis report from time to time.


Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Marketing, Business Administration)
  • 5 years of experience in admissions and recruitment in education sector, preferably in a secondary school or higher education setting
  • Strong sense of business acumen
  • Strong knowledge of the Ontario education system and admissions requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret enrollment data
  • Proficiency in using admissions management systems, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms is an asset
