The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Capital Program Analyst to join our Strategic Asset Planning team. Reporting to the Manager, you will join a team of professionals who manage and oversee the capital program, both the current years execution and the long term investment planning.
Key elements of this role include::

As Capital Program Analyst you will be responsible for:


  • The adherence of capital projects to both internal and external governance
  • Reporting on capital spend, forecasts and budgets
  • Compiling regulatory reporting
  • Contributing to the development of the Annual Capital Expenditure Plan
  • Contributing to the development of individual capital project filings
  • Supporting capital project owners through both PowerPlan and Final Costing processes

To thrive in this role, you recognize yourself in most of the following competencies and skills listed below:
  • A university degree with a focus in accounting or finance,
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with PowerPlan (capital management software) would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of utility regulatory requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking in formal settings
  • Experience managing a large budget
