Class 1 Truck Driver (Minimum 2 years Montreal experience required)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 1 Truck Driver for a regional haul position. As a Class 1 Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials within a designated regional area, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the vehicle in compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
• Transport goods and materials to various locations within the designated regional area.
• Completes reports and paperwork as required related to shipping orders, return of product, vehicle inspections and driving logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate logistics and resolve any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck, both inside and out.
• Load and unload vehicle using appropriate equipment and secure it properly.
• Comply with all applicable transportation laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Able to work outside in variable temperatures and weather conditions

Basic Requirements:

• Eligible to work in Canada
• Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Flatbed/Rolltite and Container Experience (2 years) is preferred
• Proven Commercial Driving experience of 2 years (53 tractor-trailer combination) is required
• Expertise in load securement (strapping, chaining, tarping) techniques.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment driving record background check
• Successfully pass a fingerprints based background check. ( At company Cost)
