Courier Driver - Class 5

Overnight Expedite, a division of O.N.E. Transport Group, has openings for couriers to perform deliveries in Edmonton and surrounding areas. Previous courier/delivery experience is an asset but we will consider training an otherwise suitable employee. The successful applicant will:

-Have a class 5 license

- Be able to successfully deliver/pick up 70 stops per day

- Have a previous customer service background and a desire to provide an excellent customer experience.

- Comfortable navigating rural areas and driving on gravel roads.

- Ability to deliver to 70-90 stops per day

- Able to adjust to change, sometimes daily

- Be in good physical condition and able to lift up to 70 LBS on an occasional basis.

- Possess or be willing to obtain CSA approved safety footwear.

- Ability to provide a 3 year drivers abstract with no more than 3 demerit points.

- Be punctual and consistently able to be at work on time, with references to confirm reliability.

- Be an experienced and proficient driver able to safely operate delivery vehicles from transit vans to 16' cube trucks. This position is a Monday thru Friday position and generally 45 to 50 hours per week.

A full health benefits plan also kicks in after 90 days.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
