Job Posting for Administrative Assistant at Oliver's Funeral Home
We are looking for an administrative assistant to assist in the day-to-day operations of our funeral home in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
This is a temporary position to cover a 3 month leave. Potential to turn into a permanent position. Can start right away for training purposes.
The admin staff will be responsible for a variety of duties including:
Greeting and assisting families Answering the phone Taking payments Typing obituaries Data Entry Government Documentation Designing memorial cards Assisting Funeral directors and office managers with whatever is needed. Required skills
Personable, friendly, compassionate Detail-oriented English writing and proofing skills Computer skills Typing skills Quick learner Ability to be self-motivated, work alone, and with others. Multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment Proficiency in the following programs is an asset, but not required
Adobe InDesign Adobe Photoshop Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Please include a cover letter with your resume.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
