Processing Assistant (Job 337)
Job Type: Full-time, 6-month hourly contract with no benefits (September 2024 to March 2025)

The OUAC is seeking a Processing Assistant to input applicants’ information into the computer system and provide support to the departments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive, batch, scan, and index documentation (e.g. transcripts, references, supplementary forms) for professional programs.
- Correct errors on applications as identified on error reports.
- Convert academic grades provided on transcripts to a standard scale and calculate an overall Grade Point Average.
Qualifications Sought:
- Three years relevant experience in administrative services or a related field.
- Knowledge of various software programs e.g. Microsoft Office, along with database and Internet tools.
Abilities/Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain information in a clear, concise, and consistent manner.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Diplomacy, tact, patience, high attention to detail, and professionalism.
Hours of Work:
- Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm for a total of 32 hours per week (note: work hours can be made flexible and can be discussed during the interview process).
- The contract covers September 2024 to early March 2025 and is paid by hours worked.
- Hybrid remote work arrangements are not available in the first year.
- Starting hourly wage is $24/hr.
