We invite applications for the position of Supervisor to join our Liquor Division team at our Chappelle Liquor location. This role reports to the Multi-Site Manager. The successful candidate will be available to work shifts between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Weekends are required. Open availability is required.

What you'll do:

  • Lead a team in a positive and engaging manner. Ensure a superior customer experience. Manage Team Member schedule for accurate payroll reconciliation and sufficient coverage.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors and ensure an excellent level of service for members and customers. Assist with arranging weekly restocking orders and new product listings.
  • Assist with the pricing and inventory management processes, marketing programs and adherence to regulations. Maintain merchandising standards, marketing efforts, housekeeping, promotions, store inspections and maintaining a professional and welcoming image within the community.
  • Ensure compliance with all HR, Operational, AGLC, Safety and Occupational Health and Safety policies. Assist to ensure claims, invoices and all other reporting is completed accurately in a timely manner while complying with North Central Coop’s financial management period and year end processes. Assist with proper management of assets and adherence to a maintenance schedule. Maintain all equipment for the safe and efficient operation, scheduling repair as required

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in liquor retail operations and:

  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
  • Are 18 years or older
  • Have a high school diploma (preferred)
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of liquor retail experience
  • Have previous supervisory experience (an asset)
  • Have basic Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel) Skills
  • Have Previous merchandising knowledge
  • Have WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) training would be an asset
  • Have ProServ Liquor Staff Training
  • Have the ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs while receiving stock/product
