Our product lines include high-efficiency energy-recovery, MERV-13 filtration, and integration with Daikin VRV heat-pump technology for heating and cooling.
We are hiring a 2nd year graphic design intern to join our team over the summer months to help create clear and concise marketing materials. The Graphic Design intern will help to improve the design of our manuals and documentation. As a 3-year-old company, the need for clear, concise and elegantly designed materials are vital. This role will be working with large amounts of text and will focus primarily on layout design, with opportunities to support other departments as needed.
Responsibilities include:
Work with the Marketing Manager and Product Manager to assist in the creation and editing of manuals, documentation, and instructional manuals with keen attention to detail and clarity.
Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Creative Producer to create visually appealing and effective designs for various projects.
Adhere to branding standards to design eye-catching posters and for internal events, promotions, and communications.
Help update and maintain PowerPoint presentations for the Oxygen8 sales team to ensure consistent branding and clear communication.
Help maintain the company website.
Support the development of other graphic design projects as needed.
Other duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
Currently enrolled in a relevant graphic design or visual communication program, preferably in the second year.
Proficient in graphic design tools including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva.
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
Ability to follow brand guidelines and adapt design styles as needed.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a dynamic team environment.
Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and consistency in design work.
Time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Wage: $22.00 per hour. Term: 4 months.
