We are currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our team. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving operations in our warehouse. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Package and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Receive incoming shipments, inspecting for damages and verifying quantities
- Perform order picking and packing according to customer requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate shipping schedules and resolve any issues
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math calculations
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations, preferably in a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and material requirements planning (MRP)
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and best practices
