Accounting Administrative Assistant – Strata Department

We are looking to add one full-time accounting administrative assistant to our growing Strata team. Our successful candidate will be the divisions primary accounting admin. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with numbers, has a good foundation with excel, and can adapt to the unexpected while being mindful of scheduled tasks.
The Job
Duties include but may not be limited to:
· Arrears and collection
· Management fees
· Internal invoicing
· Year end processing
· Processing Strata Fees and other payments
· Paying invoices by printing cheques and sending EFTs
· Monthly bank reconciliations
· Assembling monthly financial reporting packages
· Posting journal entries
· Completing bank transfers and associated entries
· Opening and Closing bank accounts
· Maintaining cheque stock
You
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Friendly, professional demeanor with a willingness to work hard
· Knowledge of MS Office and Yardi
· Attention to detail while under time pressure
Pemberton Holmes offers a work environment that will encourage your growth and challenge you regularly. Experience with Stratas, some previous bookkeeping experience, and Yardi software would be considered an asset, but we’re happy to train.
This position has a starting salary of $47,500 - $55,000, flexible based on experience, and includes benefits.
