Performance Radiator is currently looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to provide financial, administrative, and clerical services. Accounts Receivable duties require efficiency, a high degree of accuracy, and attention to detail.
Essential Job Duties
Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables data
Prepare daily cash and bank deposits.
Taking credit card payments over the phone and posting daily
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
Answers accounts receivable phone inquiries and follows up.
Daily collection calls and updating notes.
Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
Performing account reconciliations
Credit application processing as needed
Obtains and mails invoice copies for customers, as requested.
Reviewing and updating of credit hold accounts.
Maintaining accounts receivable files and records.
Processes customer refund requests
General office duties and filling
Assists with related special projects, as required

Qualifications
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records. Education/Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
