VOLUNTEER PLACEMENT IN PLASP AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

PLASP Child Care Services is a charitable organization operating on a not-for-profit basis, providing high quality early learning and child care, for children up to 12 years of age.

The Position Requires

• You are a current Secondary School student
• You respect and enjoy interacting with children
• You are caring and energetic and work well with others
• You are flexible and willing to learn
• You show initiative by helping without being asked
• You are fully engaged with the children and program staff

Key Responsibilities

• Always take direction from program staff and get familiar with program rules
• Help program staff with the children
• Act as a mentor, leader, and a role model
• Talk to and play with all the children
• Participate in all aspects of the program inside/outside
• Ask the program staff questions if you are unsure of what to do/or say
