Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Aircraft Fuelers and ensuring exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have an Aviation background, excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, experience in managing people and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth.

The Duty Manager position will include oversight of the Safety, Performance, and People fueling functions to reach optimal results.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain customer satisfaction with airlines while focusing on enhanced communications and transparency.

· Directs and coordinates fueling activities to provide fast and efficient services for customers by performing duties personally or through other team members.

· Reviews data on incoming flights such as scheduled or estimated times of arrival or departure, destinations and down line station stops, to plan work activities.

· Directs and coordinates all operations functions and ensures workers and equipment are available for fueling and defueling services.

· Manages employees in the Fueling Department, including recruitment and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems, and ensuring employees successfully complete the Company's training program.

· Investigates causes of accidents and recommends safety measures for preventing further occurrences.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

· Able to accurately and timely complete daily reporting and administrative requirements.

· Ability to lead Fueling Zone Supervisors and fuelers to meet the highest performance delivery standards.

· Meet and maintain all airport ramp certifications.

· Able to fuel aircraft and able to lift 80 pounds and possesses aviation fuel safety knowledge.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

· A keen sense of reasoning and rational problem solving.

· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a strategic mindset.

· Willingness to work overtime as needed.

· Successfully pass background check.
