Job Posting for HR Generalist at Positive Fulfillment Services Ltd.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's growth and success. They will oversee all areas of human resources, providing guidance and ensuring the implementation of best practices while exemplifying Positive’s values when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the HR Solution UKG PRO to maintain employee records.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Work with external parties to participate in recruiting initiatives (i.e., Colleges and Universities)
  • Lead, and support culture initiatives across the organization.
  • Administer HR programs and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, performance reviews, and training through the UKG learning module.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to support organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience working in HR.
  • Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Previous experience with UKG or similar systems would be an advantage for the candidate.
  • CHRP designation is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
