Optometric Assistant

We are currently hiring an optometric assistant for our rapidly fast growing clinic in Abbotsford. This role will require to have both weekday and Saturday availibility. Ideal candidate should be able to deliver an excellent patient experience in combination with a technical aspect to take vision measurements and operate equipment to get accurate photography of the eye. All the training will be provided on site.

This position is an integral part of our practice to deliver excellent patient experience from the moment the patient enters our office. You will have the exciting opportunity to develop strong community relationships and build your dream career. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the Optometrist to determine the best products for each patient.

Job duties to include: Checking in patients, Collecting all the important information, Intake forms, Pretesting Patients, Operating and learning to use medical equippment, frame selection, lens selection, frame adjustments

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
