Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
• Handle heavy lifting of equipment or materials as needed.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools for maintenance tasks when required.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained in good condition.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning needs or issues.
• Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within designated timeframes.

Skills

• Experience in facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and staff.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices is an asset.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with custodial duties and responsibilities.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills to convey information clearly to team members.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for various cleaning tasks is beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
