Reporting to the Manager, Talent Recruitment the Recruitment Analyst supports the external recruitment process for Providence Health Care. The position provides an integrated range of services to support the Talent Recruitment team. The Analyst completes reference-checking qualified applicants, coordinating pre-employment testing, and maintaining and reporting data concerning external recruitment and supports onboarding processes. Provides support for recruitment activities including processing employment documents in our applicant tracking system, and answering employee inquiries as required.

Education, Training and Experience
Diploma in Human Resources Management plus two (2) years of related experience in a large and complex organization, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Schedules and administers pre-employment reference checks for prospective new hires. Keeps record of all reference checks and escalates as needed to Talent Recruitment Advisor
2. Assists Talent Recruitment Advisors with processing employment applications, pre-screening applicants to determine that baseline qualifications for the position have been met, conducting phone screens, short-listing qualified applicants and referring qualified applicants to a Recruitment Advisor.
3. Schedules and administers specific pre-employment testing if applicable. Creates quarterly reports highlighting testing trends that impact the recruitment process, e.g., volume, passing rates, and pass rates correlated to hire rates.
4. Processes, tracks and follows up on a variety of documentation related to items such as relocation expenses, confirming credentials such as registration/licensure status with professional associations and colleges.
5. Responds to a variety of telephone and written enquiries regarding recruitment, such as questions about the application procedures, employment opportunities, etc..
6. Provides clerical and administrative support to the Recruitment team, such as file management, invoicing, and recording of meeting notes.
7. Supports the coordination of New Employee Orientation, by overseeing registration of new employees, ensuring completion of the in-person and on-line portions of the course, and other duties as needed to support participation by new employees. Tracks and administers the employee referral program
8. Identifies potential job fairs and meetings to attend and outlines the merits of attending such events. Assists with career fairs by coordinating presentation and display materials, and representing PHC by hosting a recruitment booth/table.
9. Orders and maintains promotional materials for careers fairs and other events.
10. Assists with advertising job opportunities by posting job descriptions on select media platforms. Identifies potential sites on which to advertise. Tracks the effectiveness and impact of advertising dollars spent
11. Assists Recruiting Advisors with creating interview guides and selection plan spreadsheets for internal and external positions
12. Performs other related duties as assigned.
