Intent of the process

A pool of essentially qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions within the Department. These positions may be staffed on an indeterminate or temporary basis (casual, term, acting, assignment, secondment.

Degree equivalency

Experience
1) Significant* experience in providing **strategic advice and making recommendations to management (Manager level and above) on ***complex procurement, program or project delivery issues. This includes: Risk and Issue Management, Change Management, Client Service Delivery, Program Planning (including financial and human resources) and Priority Setting.

2) Significant* experience in leading collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as other internal branches, government departments/agencies (Provincial, Territorial, or Federal), Industry and Private Sector on complex procurement issues.

Preference

Preference will be given to veterans first and then to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
