Role Specific Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:

· Design and develop process for timely sales, inventory, margin reporting and analysis including but not limited to:

o Identify sales trends of high-performing and low-performing SKUs and opportunities for growth across major categories

o Forecast demand based on historical sales data, seasonal trends and market analysis

o Inventory performance highlighting out of stock, slow moving, and shrink

· Develop Key Performance Indicators(KPIs) related to store performance, product movement and profitability

· Key player in the implementation inventory management system and process at stores

· Lead process improvements in inventory to accurately capture inventory product movements driving margin through cost reductions and sales growth

· Drive reporting and analytics with online store ordering platform to enable growth and margins

· Drive adoption of BI initiatives to improve reporting and analytical capabilities.

· Connect with business users to understand needs and dependencies of financial data; align expectations; and further processes and systems

· Train non-financial users in the use of analytical reports and dashboards and the ability to leverage financial systems

· Participate in the designing a reporting process to enable timely performance reports and enable financial planning process (forecast and budget) amongst other core planning tools

· Develop VBA macros to perform repetitive tasks freeing up finance team’s time

· Lead transfer of vendors towards EDI platform

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

· 2 years in a related field

· Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, or BI software).

· Knowledge of retail inventory management software and ERP systems (preferred)

· Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

· Working in a retail environment are preferred

Working Conditions:

· Full time in-office with occasional travel to retail locations (GTA) as needed.

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
