Reporting to: General Manager/ Store operations Manager
Role Specific Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:
On a daily basis you will be responsible for:
- Classify all SKU into Categories, Sub-Categories, Product Group and keep them updated
- Process orders on a monthly basis for products that were missed
- Manage suggested ordering for all stores, establishing MIN /ROQ for all active products and keeping everything updated to maximize product availability / freshness at stores and sales
- Check if inventory is correct physically and take corrective actions
- Prepare monthly reports to see inventory discrepancies by store, and provide the reasons behind these discrepancies and solutions
- Monitor inventory for shrink
- Benchmark product retail pricing against competitors
- Maintain a database using SQL Server Express, importing files and create user queries
- Ensure E-commerce and In-store Catalogue is updated weekly
- Establish a planogram methodology, and execute in stores
- Other duties as assigned.
Educational /Technical Experience:
- Ability to read and write English
- College graduate preferred
- Experience with Database design,
- Ability to work with technology (iPads, smart phone, printer)
- Advanced Excel skills required – must be able to prepare charts, spreadsheets and Powerquery
If a Inventory Data Analyst is a good fit for you and you have:
- G license in good standing
- 2 years experience as a grocery merchandiser or related merchandising experience
- 1 year experience in database design and reporting
- A pleasant and approachable demeanour with good customer service skills
- Have patience and the ability to problem solve in a professional manner
- Positive work attitude is essential
- Effective time management and project management skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the business, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
