Clinical Kinesiologist and Performance Specialist

RealFit is hiring an Experienced Clinical and Aquatic Kinesiologist and Performance Specialist to provide active rehabilitation, performance conditioning and lifestyle optimization in Victoria.

As a RealFit Practicing Clinical and Aquatic Kinesiologist and Performance Specialist you will:

• Implement best practices in delivering an efficient, person-centred approach to clients directly hinged to their goals that optimizes their performance, movement and lifestyle
• Engage, empower and motivate behavior and lifestyle change with clients and be invested in their results
• Lead in-person, individual and semi-private gym based and aquatic training and deliver virtual and mobile services as needed
• Perform and document initial movement assessments to best determine a clients 'low hanging fruit', activity intolerances and baseline standards of measurement to effectively and efficiently set expectations and accountabilities
• Demonstrate your commitment to continuously upskilling your clinical and training reasoning, as well as being open to learning, developing and pivoting to improve your practice
• Be an inspiring team member and epic communicator

As a RealFit Practicing Clinical and Aquatic Kinesiologist and Performance Specialist you have:

• Degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics
• Practicing member of the BCAK
• Obtain or possess Professional Liability Insurance, Commercial Liability Insurance prior to commencement
• Obtain or possess valid CPR & First Aid Certificates prior to commencement.
• Obtain or possess a police background check (required for some operating locations) prior to commencement.
• Preferred 2 years experience providing active rehabilitation, personal training & rehabilitative assistance and have demonstrated the competencies above.

This is a contract position beginning part time with limitless opportunity for growth for the right individual. While working both independently as well as part of a team you will have the autonomy to schedule work on a flexible timeline outside of core hours with the expectation that core business hours are open to be booked based on client needs. Compensation is offered as a percent split, working out to approximately $30-$50/hour and will be determined by your skills, specialization and level of experience.
