Security Guard

***MUST RESIDE IN Timmins Ontario***

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises

-Maintain a polite and Friendly demeanor, treating every person with courtesy and respect

-Remain alert at all times

-Pay attention to high theft areas

-Monitoring checkout areas.

- Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect and prevent unauthorized activities

- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances

- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as needed

- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment

- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks

- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records

Qualifications:

- MUST have valid Ontario Security Guard License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations
- Basic computer skills for operating CCTV systems

Note: Loss prevention experience is a plus.
