Controller

We are offering a 6-month contract opportunity for a Controller, located in Chatham-Kent, Ontario. The role of the Controller is instrumental in maintaining and improving our financial systems and procedures. Please note: this is a full-time, temporary engagement requiring 3 days onsite with remote work for the remaining days.   Responsibilities:Analyze and organize financial data to provide a comprehensive depiction of the client's financial situation.Provide accurate and timing month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial resultsOversee full cycle accounting processes and ensure accuracy in financial reportingImprove and streamline accounting functions Initiate process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting operationsWork closely with the head office to create new financial reports, controls, KPIs, dashboards, etc.Create consolidated financial statements Implementation of new ERP systems (Sage X3 experience would be considered an asset)
