We are seeking a Psychometrist (approx. 10-20 hours per week). Our ideal candidate is efficient, detail oriented, and personable. Experience working with children and teens is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychoeducational assessment services (i.e., standardized test administration/scoring, report writing) in-person for children and youth under the clinical supervision of a Registered Psychologist in central Ottawa.
Qualifications:
- ***Previous experience with psychometric work is required.
- Experience in Administering/Scoring some of the following assessment measures: WAIS-IV; WISC-5; WIAT-III; CHAMP; CTOPP-2 is required. We can also provide training if you do not have experience with all measures listed. Please indicate in your cover letter which of these measures you are fully independent at administering or have experience with, and whether you have report preparation experience.
- Report preparation experience also preferred.
- Satisfactory Police Records Check for the vulnerable sector.
- Ability to work actively and collaboratively with supervisor and team members.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with clients, family and other caregivers.
