Receptionist – Shoreline Law, Sechelt
Shoreline Law is excited to announce that we are hiring a new Receptionist for our Sechelt location – to allow us to serve our ever-expanding client base on the Sunshine Coast and beyond. This in-office position offers a unique opportunity to be part of the only full-service law firm on the Sunshine Coast, and to join a team that values collaboration, professional growth, and community engagement.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Actively participating in the building and maintenance of a productive, inclusive, and friendly work environment within Shoreline Law.
- Managing certain telephone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.).
- Opening files and collecting necessary Law Society compliance information from prospective clients.
- Perform various administrative tasks around the office and the community, including assisting with bank deposits and collecting mail.
- Managing calendars for lawyers based out of the Sechelt office.
- Taking payments from clients for invoices, and retainers from prospective and existing clients of Shoreline Law.
- Collaborating with the office manager at the Gibsons office to ensure efficient workflow between offices.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to learn, be a team player, and contribute to the growth of Shoreline Law.
- Tact, diplomacy, discretion, and good judgment when handling confidential matters.
- Experience working in an office environment is preferred, but is not mandatory for this role.
