We are currently recruiting for a Forklift/ Tow Buggy Trainer in the SPS Training Center.
Must be available up to minimum 2 shifts per week, maximum 4 shifts per week.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Training Supervisor, Forklift/Tow Buggy Trainers are responsible for:
Delivery of established training programs (in class and practical)
Administering practical testing and certification of new Material Handling Equipment operators
Completing and administering all training related documentation
Maintaining an exceptional level of Material Handling Equipment operation and conduct in all work environments
Qualifications:
Must have own vehicle
Train the Trainer Certificate an asset
The ability to support training initiatives on weekends, between shifts and irregular shifts
Current Forklift/Tow Buggy certification and in good standing
Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work cohesively in a close team environment
Positive attitude with an ability to self-direct
Time management and organizational skills
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Other Abilities:
Formal training/experience delivering classroom/practical training an asset
Organizational, time management & decision-making skills
A strong safety orientation
