Automation Technician, Paint

Position Summary

Serve as a plant resource for line improvements, line automation, realignment of product flow equipment and machinery in conjunction with Engineering and Maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor equipment (including documentation, recording spec. qualifications):
    • Wash system
    • Fluid delivery equipment
    • Wash-bay and Steamer room
    • Kitchen
    • Rework
    • Product Quality – Paint finish
    • Waste Water Treatment – Titrate chemistry
    • Post Department Customer Satisfaction
    • Scheduled Activity Equipment Maintenance
  • Monitor product consumption (chemicals, paints, consumables, etc.)
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Emergency minor maintenance (i.e. Gun replacements, etc.)
  • Engineering trials
  • Equipment troubleshooting
  • Assist in training of new painters (in booth – practical)
  • Must be flexible for all shifts and work overtime.
  • Other duties as assigned
