About the Role

We are looking for an Entry Level Human Resources Administrator to join our dynamic HR team! Reporting to the HR Business Partner and Service Excellence Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our HR data systems and supporting various HR initiatives. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive attitude. Role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of employee personnel information into HRIS systems, including new hire packages, employee changes, and termination data.
  • Review incoming employee paperwork for accuracy and completeness, liaising with leaders and employees to address any discrepancies.
  • Assist in drafting various HR correspondence, such as letters, emails, memos, and reports.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on data-driven initiatives, including report generation, problem identification, and process improvements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper storage of employee documents in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits of employee personnel files and HR data.
  • Assist with formatting, policy amendments, and updating payroll calendars as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries via general email inboxes in a timely and professional manner.

Experience and Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in HR preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR data entry and administration.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, particularly Workday, is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment.
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to/from work.

Salary: $40,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
