We are looking for a Contract and Sales Support Associate – a skilled individual who will act as support to the Canadian Sales Division in all necessary functions relating to contracts, SSO/GPO relations and contract compliance. This role is set out to support overall sales initiatives due to the nature of Broader Public Sector Procurement Directives.

What You Will Do

  • Monitor all Canadian Tender sites daily for RFI/RFQ/RFP opportunities.
  • Review inquiries/requests (RFP, RFQ, RFI) to establish submission requirements.
  • Facilitate Agreements and liaison with National GPO & SSO Accounts.
  • Verify compliance with the request, including the inclusion of forms and financial information.
  • Collaborate with respective Product Managers, VP of Sales, Management and Finance for final approval prior to RFP submission.
  • Take full ownership of RFP submission process, inclusive of submission preparation, collaboration with sales team, collection of documentation, and scheduling to meet respective deadlines
  • Communicate with and co-travel with local SMI Sales Representatives to present SMI Products to National GPO’s & SSO’s.
  • Become knowledgeable with all Proprietary and Distribution products, supplies and sales strategies
  • Contribute to the preparation of Quarterly Business Review (QBR) presentations for GPO’s & SSO’s
  • Maintain contract management database on all Contracts with National GPO’s & SSO’s
  • Report to Management on contract compliance using sales data

What We Need

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Preferred at least 1-3 years in a business – related field.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, MS Outlook, Visual ERP, CRM and Adobe PRO
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, time management, and ability to meet deadlines will be a key factor in this role
