Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively monitor premises, enforce rules, and respond to incidents as they arise. Applicants must have valid security license and valid driver's license with vichical. APPLICATANTS MUST BE WILLING TO DRIVE TO DUNCAN.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Operate CCTV and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential hazards or security breaches.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations, ensuring compliance from all personnel.
• Prepare detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches or unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with loss prevention teams to minimize theft and ensure asset protection.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and surveillance technology.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and protocols is a plus.
• Experience in loss prevention strategies and techniques is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and security.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
