Team Sales Representative, Ontario

What You’ll Do;
As a Team Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving team business within your region, using your passion for sports and strong relationships across Ontario. Team Town Sports is a rapidly growing company, quickly becoming a leader in team uniforms, apparel, and equipment.
In this newly created role, you'll take ownership of your region—managing existing accounts, developing a strong sales pipeline, and actively prospecting new opportunities. You'll build face-to-face relationships with team associations, clubs, and organizations, becoming their trusted partner for all their team needs. Additionally, you'll collaborate with store management and staff to facilitate team sales through our retail locations.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop programs and strategies to raise awareness and strengthen partnerships within your region.
• Represent Team Town Sports at various events, tournaments and games throughout the year.
• Maintain a professional relationship with our vendor partners.
• Accurate data entry of product information in various systems as required.
• Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all levels, individual teams through large associations and professional clubs.
• Actively develop and qualify leads from store and website inquiries within region to drive additional sales opportunities through cold calling and lead generation campaigns.
• Build reports for size curve analysis.
• Works with vendors on inventory availability, managing purchase orders, and tracking shipments.
• Works with stores to ensure timely receipt of shipments.
• Recommend inventory requirements through detailed analysis by SKU/store and works with Merchant Team and Vendors to forecast replenishment products needed for rolling 12 months.
• Create reports to analyze sales, margin, and inventory to support category initiatives.

What You'll Bring;

• Post-secondary education (University preferred) with a focus on retail, marketing or sales.
• 3-5 years’ work experience in outside sales in the team category.
• Ability to process information/merchandise through order entry systems.
• Be customer centric; listening, understanding and responding to customer needs while being committed to the customer first philosophy; this applies to both internal and external customers.
• Perform duties with a high level of accuracy.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail orientated with a sense of urgency to follow-up.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion and strong understanding of team sports.
• Ability to multi-task and easily adapt to current business trends; ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Strong computer skills, proficient with PC-based applications including Microsoft Excel and Word.
