Merchandising Assistant

Located on 20-acres in SW Calgary, Spruce It Up Garden Centre offers everything from perennials, annuals, and tropicals in our 15,000 sq ft greenhouse, to pottery, giftware and home décor from our 4,000 square foot retail showroom. Our experienced, expert team is also proud to offer full-service landscaping, pruning, and fertilizing services to Calgary and the surrounding communities. Our retail division is looking to hire a seasonal full-time Merchandising and Receiving Assistant for the spring/summer months. Responsibilities

• Work alongside and follow specific directions from Merchandising Manager
• Help merchandise store and assist with changing store displays
• learn and memorize locations of back stocked items and help ensure store is stocked with various products
• Work with purchasing team to ensure retail SKU's, retail prices, and quantities of received product are correct
• Unloading pallets and lifting merchandise off for Merchandising/Receiving Supervisor to count
• Work in all elements during spring and summer months
• Help with periodic cycle inventory counts
• Ensure invoices are correct when receiving product from suppliers
