Bargaining Unit: UNIFOR-HRM Status: Full Time Department: Birch Grove Site: Hogarth Riverview Manor Shifts: Days/Nights including weekends (12 hour D/N)
Rate of Pay: $26.29 - $27.76 per hour
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must possess a Personal Support Worker certificate
Experience working with elderly clients
Experience in a long term care home preferred
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Demonstrated regular attendance at work
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
Offers of employment made to external candidates are conditional upon providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination as per the SJCG Immunization Policy IMS-04-005 or proof of valid medical exemption, prior to the offered effective date.
