Stahl Peterbilt is actively hiring a full-time Parts Technician in Grande Prairie to cater to the growing demands of our Parts Department. We are looking for a customer-focused and outgoing individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a team player with the ability to work independently, and previous experience in a dealership setting would be a valuable asset for this position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Always provides excellent front counter customer service to walk in and phone clients.
- Documents and processes quotations, pricing, and purchase orders electronically; takes payments.
- Research parts for all makes of Class 7 and 8 trucks.
- Develops, maintains, and strengthens relationships with clients to build Parts business.
- Provides back counterparts support to mechanics in the service department.
- Responds proficiently and professionally by telephone and e-mail to customer inquiries, issues, and concerns.
- Core management.
- Conducts business on behalf of Stahl Peterbilt in a professional manner and represents Stahl Peterbilt culture to ensure fulfillment of company vision and values.
Employment Qualifications:
- Must be a Journeyman Parts Technician or enrolled in a registered apprentice in Alberta’s Advanced Education Trade Program “Parts Technician".
- Previous heavy equipment parts experience is required.
- Previous sales experience is an asset.
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and the ability to acclimate to PC-based order entry systems are necessary.
- Must be organized and exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and criminal record check prior to hiring.
