Health Care Aide (HCA)

The Role:

• Assist with the day-to-day delivery of care and requirements of the resident
• Work closely with the multi disciplinary team to facilitate the best practices are being used
• Provides support to residents, their family and visitors during the resident's stay
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Canadian Health Care Aide program
• Registered with the BC HCA Directory and have a directory number
• Current CPR / First Aid Certification / Equivalency required
• Previous experience in the area of Gerontology and Designated Assisted Living an asset
• Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccines
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in delivering excellence in customer service/patient care, employee communication and development
• A current and clear Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Sector Search

Pay: $30.00 per hour

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
