Framer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. As a Framer, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings and structures. This is a physically demanding role that requires experience in blueprint reading, using hand and power tools, and working with heavy materials.

Duties:
- Study and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout and dimensions of the structure
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, and other materials according to specifications
- Assemble and secure the framework of the structure using nails, screws, or other fasteners
- Install windows, doors, siding, and roofing materials
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Framer or similar role in the construction industry
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Familiarity with drywall installation, concrete finishing, and heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.77-$25.34 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
