Official Job Title? Order Selector-Shipper, but we like to think of our Warehouse staff as Industrial Athletes due to the extremely physical nature of their jobs. Professional athletes typically exert their energy in short bursts - for instance, a hockey game is finished in under 3 hours - but our Industrial Athletes expend that same energy level for a full shift, four days per week! In this job, you get a workout without paying for a gym membership!

As an Order Selector, you will handle an average of 1,500 cases per shift, with each case weighing an average of 30 pounds - but up to 72 pounds. You will also move a lot - walking, standing, stretching, and bending - on average you will walk over 10 kilometers in a single shift. It is very repetitive & physically demanding work, so the ideal person for the job is very self-motivated and likes to continually challenge themselves. The hours appeal to those who are night owls - shifts typically start in the afternoon and end in the early morning.

• Starting hourly wage is $27.45, increases to $28.52 after 6 months - $31.75 after one year
• PLUS $1.00 per hour night shift premium
• PLUS $1.00 per hour freezer premium if working in that area.
• PLUS pay incentives - potential to earn an EXTRA $1,000 weekly in incentives

(Our Order Selectors work hard, and some make 6-figures annually as a result)

Shift starts are between 5:00pm and 5:30pm, with 4 shifts per week occurring from Sunday to Friday. Each shift is an average of 10 hours but can be up to 12 on busy nights with overtime as required. Due to the nature of business, you will be required to work on most stat holidays with additional stat pay or time in lieu of (per ESA legislation).
