Our team is dedicated to excellence, and we are seeking a highly skilled 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Plumber to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
This is a hands-on position that requires mature and responsible personnel. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers to learn the trade and develop your skills in plumbing. Daily responsibilities will vary and will include installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing fixtures and equipment in camp and modular facilities. The position will require travel to remote and regional locations across British Columbia, with rotation to be negotiated, based on point of hire and project specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems with precision and efficiency under the guidance of our Site Supervisor.

Safely use various power tools including, but not limited to, drills and saws.

Safely use general plumbing tools i.e. pipe cutters, hacksaw, testing gauges.

Notify supervisor when supplies are needed.

Maintain communication with supervisor

Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members

Promote a safe and healthy work environment for all personnel on site.

Maintain Tasu’s professional image, including keeping a clean and organized job site.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints to meet project requirements

Identify resource requirement including accurate material lists
Qualifications and Skills:
-
3rd or 4th Year Construction Plumbers Apprentices (ITA number required)

Ability to follow direction and a team player
-
Superior organization and time management skills
-
Completion of basic First Aid, Fall Arrest, or Health and Safety Training is an asset.

Sufficient physical strength, stamina and coordination to perform heavy manual outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Be eligible to legally work in Canada.

Valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract

Cleanliness and a professional attitude are a must
Work Environment:

Remote role with rotational schedule
