Retail Associate (Cannabis) in ORLEANS

Looking for a new challenge? The Oz Store, a well-known cannabis retail chain in Eastern Ontario, has an opening for a full or part time Retail Associate to join our store in Orleans, Ottawa. We welcome an application from anyone seeking a long term career with opportunities for growth, including promotion to Key Holder and Key Lead (and perhaps even store manager at a new location).

This is a starting position and remuneration begins at $17.85 per hour, with opportunities for tips. If you stay with our organization and move up to full time hours, you may become eligible for health care related benefits, e.g. dental and vision.

The ideal candidate should:

-enjoy dealing with the public in a fast-paced environment

-have a licence and clean driving record (for occasional deliveries using the official store vehicle)

-have a high school diploma

-be able to function within a team setting

-be knowledgeable and passionate about legal Cannabis products

-have a keen attention to detail, and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities Include:

-Carrying out cashier duties (taking orders and cashing out customers at the till)

-Answering phones and appropriately helping customers with their inquiries

-Gathering, processing, and packaging online orders

-Assisting the Keyholders/Manager in receiving and organizing merchandise

-Maintaining the physical appearance of the store

-Assisting the Keyholders/Manager in the opening and closing of the store.

-Driving for delivery purposes (if applicable)

It’s a bonus if you:

-are bilingual (English with French)
