The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Area Supervisors, the Student, Roads Operations will perform the following duties, including but not limited to:

• Provide roadside grass and weed control (weed whipper, push mower etc.)

• Provide traffic flagging for road/roadside maintenance work
• Assist with pothole & edging repair (hold & cold mix)
• Clean up roadside debris/garbage
• Paint equipment as required

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking motivated students returning to full-time studies in Fall 2024. Our ideal candidates possess at least a G licence with no more than 3 demerit points. We are seeking individuals who can perform arduous physical labour, carry up to 40 lbs., and provide their own safety boots.

The successful candidate for this position will be required to work a flexible schedule, including after hours (as required).

This position offers an hourly range of $17.48 – $22.53.
