Who We Are:
We are a 18 hole public golf course situated in the hamlet of Langdon, AB just 20 minutes east of Calgary. Remarkable and unpretentious, we are not some fancy course like Pebble or Cabot, nor do we pretend to be. We are not “nestled” anywhere and yet our Rocky Mountain views are breathtaking and spectacular. We are by far the most unpretentious golf course around. Our purpose is to provide value to our customers in a fun and inclusive setting.
Position Summary:
Golf Maintenance Labourers report directly to the golf course Superintendent and assists with the day to day maintenance operation. The Golf Course Maintenance team is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the following areas; 18 hole golf course, clubhouse lawns, landscaped areas, driving range, parking lot, maintenance facilities and boulevards.
What You'll Do:
- Operate mowers, utility carts and other specialized equipment
- Operate small gas engines including trimmers, backpack blowers, and pumps
- Maintain greens, roughs, tees, fairways, bunkers and all other golf course areas
- Hand tool use including digging, raking, shovelling and spreading debris and other materials
- Help prepare the course for daily play
- Assist with golf course projects, cultural practices and irrigation repairs
- Work in a safe and respectful manner that adheres to the golf course’s policies
What to Expect
Working Conditions
- Moderate exposure to extreme heat and cold, working outdoors, chemicals, pesticides, fuel, vibration, mechanical and electric hazards
- Moderate physical activity including sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Lifting up to 60 pounds for short periods of time
- Ability to work early mornings and weekends
What to Bring

- Poses and maintain a valid Alberta Drivers License and have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be legally able to work in Canada

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
