Direct Service Workers

Casual intheResidential Department

The wage rate is $17.50 per hour.

Direct Service Workers support and assist Individuals in daily routines and activities. The successful candidates will be committed to the goals and objectives of the organization and supportive of its programs and services.

Applicants that are available to work an evening shift or a sleep overnight shift starting at 3:30pm on weekdays and are available on weekends will be considered first.

Qualifications:

- Grade 12 or equivalent

- Excellent English communication skills

- Valid MB 5 I or F Driver’s License, or better, required

- Experience working with adults with developmental/physical disabilities an asset

Employment is subject to a Criminal Records Check and Adult and Child Abuse Registry Checks. Successful candidates will be required to obtain First Aid/CPR certification and provide a driver abstract. All charges incurred will be at the expense of the candidate.
