Facility Attendant - Part Time Varied Hours

Starting Wage - $20.52

The Facility Attendant is responsible for setting up and monitoring events, programs, activities, properly closing and securing facilities after bookings and ensure that facilities are ready for use the next day. The Facility Attendant will provide overall support for the facility’s needs, custodial services and other duties assigned. The Facility Attendant exercises judgment and initiative while demonstrates strong customer service.

:

· Perform safety and security for the facilities including: opening and closing procedures, safety and security checks

· Provide excellent customer service by assisting rental groups with setup and takedown (seating, sports equipment etc.)

· Perform quality janitorial work throughout the facilities including: maintaining cleanliness of all areas, rental spaces, public washrooms and removal of garbage.

· Communicate facility rules and regulations to ensure safe use by patrons

· Successfully resolve patron concerns

:

· Grade 12 (or equivalent)

· Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs

· Physical Effort may include long periods of walking, bending, twisting and kneeling

· Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License

· First Aid and CPR

· RCMP Based Criminal Record Check deemed acceptable by the Town

· Ability to work flexible hours (days, evenings and weekends) is required
