Driver Trainer - Niagara Region Transit

Voyago is hiring a Full-Time Driver Trainer for our Niagara Region Transit Location!

Your Role

• Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Driver Trainer is responsible for training and teaching employees how to drive all Company owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner
• You will complete full Driving Assessments
• You will provide approved Voyago divisional training as required
• You will attend internal or outside instructional training programs as required by transit division manager
• You will be facilitating new hire orientations
  
  
  

Requirements

Your profile

• You have a G class driver's license
• You possess a clean driving record and Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Screening
• You have excellent customer service experience
• You have a strong teaching/instructional background
• You have strong attention to detail
• You have superior organization and communications skills
• You have availability to work flexible hours Monday to Friday (the occasional weekend)
• You have an understanding of vehicle for hire industry
• You have knowledge of wheelchair tie downs and q-straint
• You possess a clean driver's abstract
• You have previous Driver Assessment experience
• You are comfortable travelling to various Voyago locations across South Western Ontario
