Carpenter

*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. *Duties* - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications - Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed - Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements - Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items - Install structures and fixtures such as windows, molding, cabinets, siding, drywall, and insulation - Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props - Perform repairs on existing wooden structures - Work with hand tools including saws, drills, and sanders - Perform heavy lifting when necessary *Qualifications* - Proven experience as a Carpenter - Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints - Skilled in carpentry techniques such as framing, cabinet installation, siding work, and concrete forming - Ability to assemble and restore wooden structures with precision - Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.50-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 55 per week
