Position Overview:
We are actively seeking a dynamic and seasoned Product Owner to join our team at Triton. As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision for our products. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, delivering high-quality solutions, and ensuring alignment with customer and market needs within a specific line of business. Collaborate with our world-class Technology and Innovation team and other stakeholders to build, launch, improve, and maintain our products.

Responsibilities:
· Define and prioritize product backlog items based on business and customer impact.
· Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
· Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.
· Collaborate with the development team to ensure that they understand the vision and deliver by attending sprint meetings.
· Act as a liaison between the technical team and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication.
· Facilitate product demos by delivery teams to gather real-time feedback from stakeholders and improve product outcomes.
· Monitor product progress at each stage of the development cycle, and provide feedback and guidance as needed.
· Ensure product releases are launched successfully and on schedule.
· Provide direction on product roadmaps to accurately capture the vision, scope, and strategy.
· Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to inform product decisions.
· Research and support in vendor search and assessments to integrate best in-market tools.
· Champion continuous improvement within the delivery team supporting business and product goals.
· Ability to act as a subject matter expert, making informed decisions on scope, features, and trade-offs.
· Attend conferences to further develop the product offerings and conduct market comparisons.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
· 3 years experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management.
· 3 years practice of SDLC (Software Product Owner experience)
· Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
· Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent preferred.
· Experience in background screening or software or Incident Management industry preferred.
