```Job Overview:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Marketing Coordinator will bring an expert combination of digital marketing, graphic design, and administrative capabilities to run the day-to-day marketing needs as well as the development and implementation of long-term marketing strategies at Triwood Community Association.
Duties:
· Social Media – Plan a social media strategy, develop a content calendar, post, and monitor social media content across various platforms, with particular focus on key dates as outlined in Communication plan. Respond to customer and member inquires through social networks. Capture and share the impact that Triwood Community Association makes in the community through photography or short video capture.
· Website updates – Update websites as required to maximize content delivery as well as ease of use for customers and members. Ensure content is current, relevant, and accessible.
· Graphic Design - Create custom illustrations, web graphics, posters, and other print material as required or as requested to support Triwood Community Association staff.
· Signage and Brand – Prepare, monitor, and maintain signage and branded documents, ensuring consistency and adherence to Triwood Community Association brand. Analyze, propose, and implement any approved brand revitalization strategies to improve marketing exposure.
· External Communication – Take ownership and deliver monthly content for all external communications to community residents and membership including the Triwood Trumpet newsletter, monthly e-news Membership communication, or stakeholder surveys by established deadlines.
Administration- Complete monthly administrative tasks such as reporting performance metrics for the website, social media, and other electronic communications. Maintain awareness and stay informed about local marketing/Community Association trends and adapt marketing strategies accordingly, such as the use of Artificial Intelligence. Assist in the development of the annual Communication Plan in consultation with Triwood Community Association staff.
Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
· Proven experience in digital marketing, including social media management, email marketing, and analytics.
· Proficiency in Adobe suite, Canva, Wix, and Meta platforms.
· Strong project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
· Courteous, professional and positive attitude with emphasis on exceptional customer and stakeholder services.
· Good attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and ability to take initiative and resolve queries in a practical and positive manner.
· Ability to ask for help when required and accept constructive feedback.
· Positive and flexible approach to work.
· The ability to communicate well with supervisors and other staff, and to foster positive work relationships.
· Ability to communicate clearly by understanding both verbal and written instructions from customers and colleagues, along with communicating in a professional manner.
