Upper Madison College is seeking a passionate and dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our team. As an ESL Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students who are learning English as their second language. You will create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can develop their language skills and gain confidence in their abilities.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective English language lessons to students of various ages and proficiency levels
- Develop curriculum and instructional materials that align with student needs and learning objectives
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and student engagement
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their language development
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for students
- Utilize technology and other resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences
- Monitor student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field
- Teaching certification or ESL certification
- Experience working with children or individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of effective teaching strategies for second language learners
- Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 22 per week
