Our team is seeking a passionate individual to join us as a Human Resources Business Partner. As an HR Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic advice and support in implementing human resources initiatives, while guiding managers in applying HR policies and best practices for unionized and non-unionized workforces across Canada.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand the business context, identify and analyze specific challenges faced by your partners within the organization;
  • Strategically support cultural change and sector evolution;
  • Develop and orchestrate the implementation of human resources solutions to overcome challenges;
  • Support managers in labor relations matters, establish positive relationships with union stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with managers and positively influence their business decisions at various levels, such as employee engagement and experience;
  • Implement all stages of the human resources cycle in areas such as talent acquisition, performance and compensation management, employee relations, talent and leadership development, and change management;
  • Monitor organizational climate to propose innovative solutions to enhance workplace engagement;
  • Coach managers in their interactions with employees to foster a healthy work environment;
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to implement team's strategic priorities.
Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a generalist or business partner role, primarily in a unionized environment;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English and French;
  • Knowledge of federal labor legislation (an asset);
  • Experience in the transportation industry (an asset);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
