About us:
We are a growing dog hiking company in the Cowichan Valley! Hiking in the beautiful back country up to 4 hours a day.
We are looking for a pack leader!
Experience is preferred but willing to train the right person!
Part time that will lead into full time.
We are a dog walking business on Vancouver Island based out of Duncan servicing the Cowichan Valley.
Job Description:
Shifts start as early as 645am.
Flexibile scheduling. Weekend work available from time to time.
Looking for someone who is driven, committed, reliable & is passionate about working with dogs. You will be representing the business, in a company vehicle that will be used to pickup client dogs & travel to one of our various hiking locations based on area of service. You will have plenty opportunity to pickup extra work- private walks, house sitting, & maintenance such as cleaning company vehicle inside & outside on a regular basis.
This job requires a lot of driving as well as outdoor hiking 2-4 hours a day.
Training wage: 18$
Please ensure you have a full drivers license, & clean driving record. *a copy of this will be required at time of hire*
We will provide you with all the essentials & training to hike safely.
Taking photo’s with a smart phone, or camera of choice to share with our pawrents & market on social media.
You can work independently & in rain or shine.
Excellent communication skills, verbal or digital. You will communicate with clients who are treated like family on a daily basis, & management.
You will be signed up to learn & obtain a pet first aid certificate.
There will be opportunity to grow within the company.
